Faux Shagreen Backgammon Board Duke Blue

A true family heirloom, our modern backgammon board is crafted from an exquisite combination of walnut, rosewood and mappa burl, and finished in our unique shgareen alternative. Henry Forwood invented this ethical material as an alternative to stingray leather. This beautiful board has storage sections lined in midnight blue velvet, with pieces made from leather and stainless steel. The doubling dice is handmade in mappa burl and the shakers are turned in walnut wood.  This would make a fabulous gift for a special occasion.
