Job Description

 

As a Sales Assistant at Inside, you will be the face of our brand, engaging with customers, providing exceptional service, and assisting them in finding the perfect home furnishings for their needs. This role is ideal for a warm, friendly and motivated individual with a genuine interest in home furnishings and interiors who aspires to take on greater responsibilities in the future.

In your part time role, you will work at least two days a week, and more during seasonally busy periods.  Our opening hours are 10am to 7pm from Monday to Saturday, and 10am to 6pm on Sunday.  Additional pay is given for working on Public Holidays.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Welcome and assist customers in a friendly, knowledgeable manner.
  • Have a deep understanding of our product offerings and share that knowledge with customers.
  • Maintain a visually appealing and organized store environment.
  • Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall store performance.
  • Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and merchandising.
  • Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive and supportive store atmosphere.
  • Participate in training opportunities to enhance personal and professional development.

Requirements

 

  • Prior retail sales experience is preferred but not necessary; we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • A genuine interest in home furnishings, design, and interior decoration.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Languages: English essential, but Cantonese and Mandarin highly sought after
  • Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow within the company.
  • Proficient in using social media platforms, especially Instagram, for promoting products and engaging with customers.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays as required.
