Preparing your home for Chinese New Year
As the Lunar New Year approaches, it’s tradition to cleaning out the old and welcome in the new. Disposing of old furniture is not uncommon during this cleaning tradition and be sure to decorate the house with plenty of red to welcome the New Year. Lanterns, upside down ‘Fu’, papercutting and door gods are some of the most popular decorations.
We look forward to welcoming the new and sharing this occasion with our family and friends. We’ll be serving out food with new dinnerware and replacing old furniture with the new to start the lunar new year with good fortune.
