Antique Biedermeier Kneehole Desk and Chair

This rare piece was brought to Hong Kong from Sweden many years ago. We believe it to be 19th century and it is in the Beidermeier style. The desk and chair are made from solid oak with a burl oak veneer finish, which gives them a beautiful satiny appearance. The desk has a lockable centre drawer and two lockable cabinets on either side, with solid oak drawers inside. The original key is included. The seat of the chair is covered in a contemporary striped silk.
