Tai Ping Carpets Bloom Collection Nexus I

We are thrilled to have on display at our Repulse Bay show flat two carpets from Tai Ping  which has been creating meticulously hand-crafted carpets in Hong Kong since 1956.   We chose this rug because we were stunned by the depth of colour and its striking look.  We have put it in a study, where its rich tones complement the dark wood of the furniture, and the modern abstract design is a perfect partner for the sleek, minimalist mid-century Italian desk.  

The Bloom Collection: The art of rug making meets the art of floral design with Bloom, a collection designed by Tai Ping in collaboration with celebrated American florist Jeff Leatham. Tonal accents, variety and movement are achieved through plays on texture, while material contrasts open a range of inviting and visual possibilities.  The carpet is expertly tufted by Tai Ping artisans.
