Newly arrived, we have one piece only of this beautiful, hand-embroidered shawl made of the finest quality pashmina.  White thread in a delicate floral pattern against a natural background.   

Hand-embroidery can take hours (or days, weeks, or months) to make, depending on the intricacy.  It has become a lot harder to find artisans with the patience and skill to do it, while machine embroidery has improved in quality, and offers a similar looking product at a more affordable price.   Still, there is nothing quite as special as these rare and luxurious hand-embroidered pieces. 

Incredibly soft and lightweight, this pashmina can be worn in many different ways, including around the neck, or draped over the shoulders.
